THE STATE OF WASHINGTON APPROVES NOEL COMMUNICATIONS FOR ETHERNET TRANSPORT VENDOR

The Department of Information Services for the State of Washington has completed their evaluation of vendors and is pleased to announce that Noel Communications was selected as an approved vendor for Ethernet to the state. Noel Communications will be working with all state governmental agencies including K-20 school system to provide Ethernet services.

FIBER TO OTHELLO TO BE COMPLETED IN APRIL Noel Communications, Inc. is excited to announce their fiber expansion into Othello, WA! Noel Communications is building fiber into the city of Othello at their request to add bandwidth possibilities to an otherwise stranded community. The new fiber build will connect to Noel's existing fiber network, allowing both business and government offices access to other locations across the Northwest. Noel is proud to be involved in helping with the growth of Othello's business community.

Josh Wesselius
Josh has been employed with Noel Communications since 2002.  We are so excited to have Josh move from our Networking Department where he has spent the last 5 years as a Network Coordinator, to the Sales team.  His previous position allowed him to learn and understand Noel’s Network. This wealth of knowledge will surly make him an asset in his new position.  Like many of Noel’s employees, Josh is a Perry Technical graduate.

The Cisco® ONS 15454 Multiservice Transport Platform (MSTP) is the industry benchmark for dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) solutions, offering a comprehensive approach for designing, provisioning, and maintaining an optical network with the help of the Cisco MetroPlanner network design tool and the complete flexibility of reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM) technology.

Provisioning and higher Note Using the bridge and roll feature, you can upgrade an unprotected circuit to a fully protected circuit or downgrade a fully protected circuit to an unprotected circuit. The maximum down-time on maintenance for an OC-192 is 50 ms and less on an OC-48.

Noel Communications, Inc announces its new fiber optic network route protected ring in Washington. Noel has purchased a new fiber network to complete its ring in Eastern Washington and Northern Oregon. We still have our bullet proof robust microwave in place for those who still choose that means of transportation (see network map). All of our fiber is" buried" fiber on at least on one side of the ring. For more detailed information and quotes, please contact the regional sales manager in your area.

Jym has over 25 years experience in telecommunications. He has worked for Noel Communications since 1989 starting as a Field Engineer. Previously, Jym entered a staff position to implement Noel Communications new fiber network in Washington and Northern Oregon. Upon completion of the new network, he has resumed the Operations Manager position once again. He has worked in various locations around the world repairing Microwave and Satellite communications equipment for the US Government, and also worked for a major domestic carrier for several years as a Field Engineer.

Important News! Northwest Microwave, Inc. is changing its name to Noel Communications, Inc.

Northwest Microwave, Inc., the Northwest leader in providing long-haul, point-to-point telecommunications circuits via digital microwave or fiber optic networks, is changing its name to Noel Communications, Inc. This change is to reflect our affiliation with our parent company, The Noel Corporation; a 70 year old Yakima based Company. The Noel Corporation is a Pepsi Bottling and Distributorship serving the South Central Washington and North Central Oregon.

Noel Communications, Inc. will be entering its 20th year of business and the name change will better symbolize our expanding range of telecommunication capabilities.

You’ll notice our name change soon on all of our mailings, packaging, invoices, and promotional materials. It’s still the same great company, just with a new name.

Remember: Northwest Microwave, Inc. is now Noel Communications, Inc.

Jon has worked for over 25 years in the electronics and communications industries, developing customer application designs for aerospace and test equipment companies. Jon was originally hired as the NWM National Sales Director, and had quickly proven his ability to oversee the company’s expanding operations. Considering Jon’s past successes and dynamic personality, the team at NWM looks forward to a promising future.
